Credentials to access AAAS Newsroom resources are freely available to all career science communicators who wish to participate in the 2005 AAAS Annual Meeting. What Documentation is Required? We strongly encourage all newsroom participants to register in advance using the online form. Your press badge can then be picked up simply by presenting your valid photo identification to AAAS Newsroom staff on-site. NASW MEMBERS All career science communicators who are NASW members will receive a complimentary press badge from the AAAS Office of Public Programs. Current NASW membership and valid photo identification are required. Advance registration using the simple online form is strongly recommended. But, NASW members also may register on-site by presenting their current membership card and valid photo identification. ALL OTHER NEWSROOM REGISTRANTS Working reporters (staff or freelance), public information officers, journalism professors and students, as well as other career science communicators will receive complimentary registration to the 2005 AAAS Annual Meeting through the AAAS Office of Public Programs. Scientists, lobbyists, advertising or marketing professionals and other general registrants must complete the general registration process and pay the fee.
