Comprehensive, accurate, and widespread media coverage of scientific research is essential to the public's understanding and appreciation of science. This seminar, held at Euroscience 2004, will focus on the process by which scientific developments evolve into stories for newspaper and television. The seminar's panel of top scientists, reporters and press officers from the United States and Europe will highlight the challenges they face as they bring their stories to the public. The seminar will feature speaker presentations as well as an interactive program.
