In response to rising national health care costs, the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute have launched an innovative initiative to create a more efficient and effective health care system. The Center for Innovation and Implementation Science will broadly "embed" researchers within hospitals to apply cost-saving research methods commonly used in the biomedical industry.
