Cancer cells reprograCancer Cells Reprogrammed to iPmmed to iPS cells show aberrant differentiation. (IMAGE)
Caption
Sarcoma cells that contain an oncogene, EWS-FLI1, and other mutations are reprogrammed to the pluripotent stem cell state (iPS cell). The iPS cell shows dysfunctional differentiation to osteoblast, a precursor for bone cell, suggesting a new mechanism for how cancer may form.
