Measuring Epoxides

Caption: Caltech scientists used mass spectrometers on NASA's DC8 aircraft to measure epoxides above Canada's Boreal Forest last summer. These epoxides are formed from isoprene, a chemical emitted into the atmosphere by many deciduous plants.
