Caption: CloudSat's image of Megi from Oct. 18 showed clouds higher than 15 kilometers (9.3 miles). The blue areas along the top of the clouds indicate cloud ice. The wavy blue lines on the bottom center indicate intense rainfall. Where the solid line along the bottom disappears there is intense rainfall exceeding 30mm/hr (1.18 inches/hour).
