Caption: Grey vireos (Vireo vicinior) cope with noise by singing longer songs with higher maximum frequencies than their counterparts at quiet sites. In contrast, Plumbeous vireos (Vireo plumbeus) in the same noisy areas sing shorter songs with higher minimum frequencies.
