Quasicrystal Approximate Pattern

Caption: A metal film or foil perforated with a "quasicrystal approximate" pattern allowed the transmission of virtually all far-infrared light in a University of Utah study showing it is possible to harness such radiation for use in much faster wireless communications and in devices to combat terrorism.
