The upper left shows the summed concentration of 26 hydrocarbon compounds or classes in the interval in micromoles carbon per liter. The upper right shows bacterial abundance in micromoles carbon per liter. The lower left shows rates of hydrocarbon respiration by bacteria in micromoles oxygen per liter per day. The lower right shows the oxygen anomaly in micromoles oxygen per liter. The location of the Macondo well is shown by a black circle.
