Rock Vomit -- Didemnum vexillum

Caption: Didemnum vexillum was given the name "rock vomit" following its discovery in Sitka, Alaska, during a citizen science survey called the Bioblitz in June 2010. The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center has created an online public database to provide key information about the non-native marine species throughout the nation.
