Caption: NASA's Aqua satellite passed over tropical storm Mawar on May 31 at 1705 UTC (1:05 p.m. EDT). The image showed improved deep (purple) convection (rising air that form the thunderstorms that make up the tropical depression) wrapping into its low-level circulation center.
