Caption: This is the genome map of Zymoseptoria pseudotritici. The chromosomes have a mosaic structure of variable and non-variable segments. The individuals differ in the variable gene segments, which can contain genetic material of both parents. The identical regions, however, in each case retain only the genetic information from one of the parents.
