Caption: If the illegal drug-carrying SPSSs manage to deliver their very profitable illegal cargos, they are generally scuttled afterwards and not reused. But, drug cartels are continually looking for new and improved ways to conduct smuggling. While self-propelled semi-submersibles have been successful, the cartels have been developing even more stealthy fully submersible vessels deep in the South American jungles. It remains to be seen what the cartels will do with them.
