Jacobs unveils how the Bone Wars touched Texas through the lives of two Lone Star scientists, geologist Robert T. Hill and naturalist Jacob Boll. Jacobs discusses a trove of letters he discovered in Hill's archive at Southern Methodist University, and presents Boll's German ode translated to English.
