Caption: The Draft Track technologies lets audiences 'see the air' by using different colors to show the speed and direction of the air flow. The currents let NASCAR drivers save gas by drafting behind another car and then using the flow to shoot out in front of their competitor. ESPN and Sportvision Inc. created the visualization tool using an algorithm developed at the UW.
