2 AIRS Infrared Images of Tropical Cyclone Narelle

Caption: These two AIRS infrared images of Tropical Cyclone Narelle were captured on Jan. 8 at 1723 UTC and Jan. 9 at 0541 UTC. The very cold cloud top temperatures of -63F (-52C) appear in purple, indicating high, powerful thunderstorms with heavy rainfall.
