A Nasonia vitripennis Male Wasp Mating with a N. vitripennis Female

Caption: This shows a Nasonia vitripennis male wasp mating with a N. vitripennis female. After mating, the female will fertilize her eggs to produce daughters while her sons will develop directly from unfertilized eggs. These wasps are smaller than a grain of rice.
