Caption: DiaPat® is a technique that allows for the early detection of diseases from a urine sample. It is based on the analysis of proteins, which are important information carriers in our body. This video relates to a paper that appeared in the August 14, 2013, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by J. Klein at INSERM in Toulouse, France, and colleagues was titled, “Fetal Urinary Peptides to Predict Postnatal Outcome of Renal Disease in Fetuses with Posterior Urethral Valves (PUV).”
