Caption: To visualize the results of a study that looked a correlations between the language in a group of volunteers' Facebook status messages and their responses to a personality questionnaire, Penn researchers created a series of word clouds. Each summarized the language that statistically predicted a given trait, with the correlation strength of a word in a given cluster being represented by its size. Here, word clouds for people aged 13 to 18 and people aged 30 and older are compared. More word clouds are available at wwbp.org.
