Recommendations for Weight Gain During Pregnancy

Caption: Study findings show that women who gain too little weight during pregnancy are more likely to give birth to babies who die in infancy. In order to improve the likelihood of healthy outcomes for mothers and infants, healthcare professionals should provide childbearing women with gestational weight gain goals that are specific to their individual BMI.
