Substance Use and Mental Health

Caption: Researchers have found that rates of smoking, drinking and drug use are significantly higher in those with serious psychiatric illness. Over 75 percent were regular smokers, 30 percent engaged in binge drinking and about half used marijuana and other illicit drugs regularly.
