Caption: The worm on the cover of "C. elegans Atlas" was inspired by the Fibonacci spiral commonly seen throughout nature -- in everything from sea shells to galaxies. The anatomy has been stylized and generalized, only depicting the more familiar organs. It was designed by Christopher Crocker.
