Dr. Cox, the McCann Foundation-Endowed professor of breast surgery at the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine, reports that molecular subtyping helps to better identify high-risk breast cancer patients more prone to disease recurrence and, thus, more likely to benefit from chemotherapy following surgery.
