First Research Site

Caption: The first of the 72 sites where nitrogen-15 was fed into streams to be monitored was set up by the Virginia Tech Stream Team in the Coweeta forest of western North Carolina. Researchers came from a great distance to observe the process. Shown here are Stev Earl, who received his Ph.D. in biology in 2004 based on this research; Linda R.
