Caption: Hematoxylin-eosin staining revealed that after transplantation of Nogo-66 receptor gene-silenced bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in rats with spinal cord injury, astrocytes exhibited reactive hypertrophy, aggregated and formed scars at the edge of the affected site, some cells were spindle-shaped, forming a dense network with their processes, but cavities disappeared.
