Caption: Pharmacophagus antenor. The largest butterfly in Madagascar, and only found in Madagascar. It lives in the spiny desert and forests of the South, West and far North. This image relates to an article that appeared in the April 11, 2008, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Claire Kremen and colleagues at University of California, Berkeley in Berekely, Calif., was titled "Aligning Conservation Priorities Across Taxa in Madagascar with High-Resolution Planning Tools."
