INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY ON THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION WITH FORMER ASTRONAUT CHARLIE WALKER FEB. 14, 1998

The first launch for construction of the International Space Station is less than 5 months away!

Here is your opportunity to interview former astronaut Charlie Walker, now Boeing senior manager for Advanced Programs Business Development. As a payload specialist, Walker flew on three space shuttle missions (STS-41-D, 51-D and 61-B), accumulating 20 days of space experience while traveling over 8 million miles.

Charlie Walker will be available for an interview Feb. 14 by media attending the AAAS & NASW conference, to discuss the International Space Station and the scientific capabilities of this permanent laboratory in space. Individual tours of the International Space Station exhibit, booth #407 in the Philadelphia Convention Center also will be available.
