The National Science Foundation (NSF) will host a public briefing at NSF Headquarters in Arlington, Va., beginning at 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 1999. The purpose is to discuss the President's budget proposal for the agency in fiscal 2000. The briefing will set the stage for new NSF priorities supporting the Administration's new information technology (IT2) and biocomplexity in the environment (BE) initiatives.
Media representatives are welcome to attend the briefing and to ask questions on all aspects of NSF's budget request for fiscal year 2000.
