Interior Department (USGS) FY 2000 Budget Briefing Scheduled

A briefing to discuss the U.S. Department of the Interior fiscal year 2000 budget request -- including the U.S. Geological Survey's budget -- will be held on Monday, February 1, 1999, at 1 p.m. EST in the Department's auditorium, located at 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, DC.

Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt and Assistant Secretary for Policy, Management and Budget John Berry will discuss the Department's FY 2000 budget initiatives and answer questions.
