To mark Global Science and Technology Week, May 6-12, the American Chemical Society, the world's largest scientific society, is hosting hands-on science demonstrations with Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Nye will visit Capitol Hill on Wednesday, May 9, to emphasize the importance of science and math education in today's era of globalization. He will lead Members of Congress and their staff in a hands-on exploration of science, engaging them in interactive experiments that demonstrate basic scientific principles.
