Dr. Etta Pisano, professor of radiology, and colleagues will describe the study, which she will lead and which will eventually involve almost 50,000 women and more than $26 million.
Reporters can park in UNC Hospitals’ public “Dogwood”parking deck, which is across Manning Drive from the hospitals. Ten spaces will be reserved for reporters near the entrance off Mason Farm Road, which runs parallel to and south of Manning. Videographers can drop equipment off on the sidewalk beside the Lineberger Building before parking their vehicles. Lineberger is next to the employee parking deck, which is gated and not open to the public. An alternative is to unload equipment beside Lineberger and use valet parking in front of the hospital’s main entrance.
