The recent success in the cloning of mammals have scientists examining the impact on the future of human cloning at a seminar sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Speakers will explore the ethical and religious arguments against human reproductive cloning, the moral predicament associated with therapeutic cloning, and the problems with genomic reprogramming. Opinions from human cloning activists will be summarized. Ample time will be provided for speakers to address comments and questions from audience members.
