Women in European science

The meeting offers the opportunity to discuss the position of women in European research: Even though the number of female students equals on average those of male students, women are rare to find at higher positions in science. We will discuss probable reasons for this as well as possible solutions. EMBO will also introduce you to its new brochure and position paper about women in science and will launch its new Restart Fellowship Programme for researchers to return to science after a break for child care.
