Washington, D.C. -20 March 2002- The most comprehensive information on the President's research and development budget will be presented at the AAAS 27th Annual Colloquium on Science and Technology in Washington D.C., 11 - 12 April, 2002.
Prominent policy analysts from government, industry, academia, and scientific organizations will evaluate President Bush's technology policy and the significance of the War on Terrorism on recent budget proposals. Proposed funding packages for the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and Departments of Defense, Energy, and Commerce will also be examined at the colloquium.

Available at the colloquium will be the AAAS Report XXIII: Research and Development FY 2003, which analyzes overall trends in the President's budget request and provides analyses by federal agency and by discipline or field of study.
