Covering substance abuse and addiction issues: What's new?

A seminar for health, medical, science, and lifestyle writers

Journalists and writers are invited to attend this seminar to hear presentations by scientists and specialists in addiction research, treatment, and prevention; to participate in discussions with these experts; and to meet other journalists to discuss the challenges of covering substance abuse and addiction issues.

The seminar is being held in conjunction with NIDA's conference "Blending Clinical Practice and Research: Forging Partnerships to Enhance Drug Addiction Treatment" which journalists are invited to cover.

The seminar will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 in the Regency Room of the Grand Hyatt New York, Park Avenue at Grand Central Station, NYC.
