With SAL – an electronic tutor Mangold developed – children can study Braille with only occasional support from an instructor and adults can use the device for programmed instruction. At the demonstration, Dr. Mangold will discuss the device’s successes and introduce its new mathematics tutor and Spanish-language capability.
