WHAT
The University of New Hampshire's Non-Lethal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) and the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate (JNLWD) will sponsor the fourth annual Non-lethal Technology and Academic Research (NTAR IV) Symposium.

November 19-21 at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla, La Jolla, California.

The NTAR Symposium is sponsored by the JNLWD of the U.S. Department of Defense and NTIC.
CONTENT
A multi-disciplinary conference, the NTAR Symposium brings together members of academia, industry, law enforcement, and government to exchange ideas, understanding, and knowledge. Sessions are being organized by the University of New Hampshire to reflect the current and future technologies to be employed by the military and police for non-lethal use at home and abroad.
The NTAR IV agenda will include presentations of cutting-edge research on non-lethal capabilities, human effects, directed energies, computer databases, materials science, and crowd-control issues. Keynote presentations by Raymond Geoffroy, Assistant Deputy Commandant for Security, USMC.; Colonel David Karcher, director, JNLWD; and Lt. Col. James Brown of the Naval War College will open the symposium at 8 am on Tuesday, November 19.
ID REQUIREMENTS
Media members who wish to attend any of the individual sessions must present two forms of picture ID, including a press ID.
