More than 40 high schools from Florida and North America will field teams in the high-spirited, fast-paced and highly competitive regional competition March 20-22 at the UCF Arena.
FIRST, or For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, inspires the next generation of scientists, engineers and technicians through its robotics competitions, says Wayne Weinberg, the Central Florida regional competition's vice chair and director of development at the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science.
NASA-KSC and the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science are co-hosting the Regional.
