ACS has gathered many of the world's leading ADMET (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity) experts to present research in such technical areas as absorption, in vitro metabolism, computational approaches, bioanalysis, physical property measurement and in vivo pharmacokinetics. This conference is designed to help participants examine their organization's ADMET approaches in the context of the world's most successful ADMET programs.
A feature of the program will be presentations by experts from the ADMET strategic management perspective. They will discuss real-world issues, such as dealing with applications strategies and infrastructure issues.
Rod Cole, of Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and Tim Olah, of Bristol Myers Squibb, are chairs for the conference.
ACS ProSpectives is a series of small conferences for senior-level industry scientists. Each conference examines a field's important topics through presentations by its foremost researchers.
Space is limited for these meetings. Attendance at the conferences is limited to 200 or fewer to facilitate easy interaction among the speakers and those attending. From 20-25 leading experts in each field participate in a given conference. The conferences are in addition to the Society's two national meetings and its eight to ten regional meetings held every year.
