In addition to teaching participants to identify 36 prevalent invaders, the workshop will provide details on national, agency, and state responsibilities in this area; detail current control strategies and methods; present basic monitoring and restoration approaches; identify currently-available information networks; and define future needs.
The workshop is designed for land managers and administrators for forestry, rights-of-way, natural areas, parks, and wildlife; landowners; horticulturists, aboriculturists, and landscape architects; and plant science educators and researchers.
