American Phytopathological Society accepting technical submissions for 2004 Annual Meeting

St. Paul, Minn. – The American Phytopathological Society (APS) is now accepting applications for poster and oral presentations for the 2004 APS Annual Meeting, July 31 – August 4, 2004, at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California.

The APS annual meeting is the primary education and networking event for more than 1,500 scientists from around the world who are devoted to the study of plant diseases and their management. Presenters will have the opportunity to share their latest findings on topics such as the biology of pathogens, diseases of plants, epidemiology/ecology/environmental biology, molecular/cellular plant-microbe interactions, plant disease management, and professionalism/service/outreach.

Abstracts will be available online prior to the meeting and are published in the supplement to the journal Phytopathology. For submission forms, rules, and additional information, please visit http://www.apsnet.org/meetings/2004. All oral submissions are due February 27, 2004. Poster submissions are due March 12, 2004.
