For the first time in history three major European organisations involved in urological malignant disorders – the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) and the European Association of Urology (EAU) - have joined forces in setting up a meeting to present and discuss the latest state-of-the-art issues and controversies in this rapidly evolving field.
It goes without saying that this meeting is of great importance to European medicine in general. We believe that improved collaboration between urologists, radiation and medical oncologists is essential to accomplish optimum healthcare for urological cancer patients.
In cooperation with the European Organisation for the Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) we have prepared an interesting scientific, multidisciplinary programme with an eminent faculty of world-leading experts to shed new light on the latest and important topics on urogenital cancers. Please visit www.emucbarcelona2007.org for the full programme.
This work aims to optimise diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive interventions directed towards malignant disorders in the urogenital tract and to improve our patients’ quality of life.
The meeting promises to be a unique event creating exciting opportunities to meet many leading experts associated with oncology and related fields.
There will be no simultaneous exhibition held during the EMUC meeting.
