Center for science writings presents: Storm World, a talk by jounalist Chris Mooney, Sept. 12

Mooney will discuss Storm World, his book on politically fraught research linking global warming and hurricanes

HOBOKEN, N.J. — The Center for Science Writings at Stevens Institute of Technology presents “Storm World: Hurricanes, Politics, and the Battles over Global Warming,” a talk by journalist Chris Mooney. This event will take place on Wednesday, September 12, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Lawrence T. Babbio Center, Room 122.

Chris Mooney is a correspondent and blogger for SEED magazine. Author of the controversial bestseller The Republican War on Science, Mooney will discuss Storm World, his fascinating new book on politically fraught research linking global warming and hurricanes such as Katrina.
