The National Academy of Engineering will announce the "Grand Challenges for Engineering" in the 21st century. A blue-ribbon panel was convened by the NAE to identify technological challenges and opportunities that would greatly impact quality of life throughout the world. A news conference will take place on Friday, Feb. 15, starting at 2 p.m. in the newsroom at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, during the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences' annual meeting.
PARTICIPATING FROM THE PANEL:
