ESOF 2008 Media Update

It is one month before ESOF 2008 gets underway. Some major announcements before we hope to see you in July:

ESOF 2008 Press briefings in Barcelona and Madrid

ESOF 2008 will be officially launched in Barcelona on Monday July 7, 11am and in Madrid Tuesday July 8, 11am. More details on venue and speakers soon.

European Commissioner for Science and Research Mr Janez Potoènik will attend the ESOF 2008 Opening Ceremony on Friday July18.

The final timetabled version of the Programme Highlights is now available in the Online Media Centre at www.esof2008.org. Inside you can also find a full list of biographies and photos of all ESOF participants. A schedule of on site press conferences and other media events will be available online in early July.

A media party for all accredited media will be held on Monday July 21 at the C3 Bar located at the Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCB). From 9am -2am. A night of Spanish tapas, good wine and music.
