Stevens Institute of Technology to host 18th annual HSATM Conference

June event will focus on many aspects of technology management

HOBOKEN, N.J. — This June the Howe School Alliance for Technology Management at the Stevens Institute of Technology will present its 18th annual conference: Leading in a Changing Environment. The conference will take place in the Lawrence T. Babbio, Jr. Center for Technology Management on the Stevens campus in Hoboken, N.J., Wednesday, June 10, 2009, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Today's business leaders, in technology, marketing, manufacturing, finance, general management, Information Technology and Human Resources, are facing extraordinary challenges. The conference will focus on working successfully through change as the essence of leadership, at all levels of the organization..

The conference will speak to those who are trying to navigate the dramatically disrupted world economy, sagging customer confidence and cutbacks global competitors. For those who need constant innovation, multi-dimensional diversity within and among teams, planned or unexpected mergers, business strategies that require continuous review and frequent change, and turnover in senior leadership.
