NOAA will hold a news conference to announce findings from a recent research expedition to study shipwrecks sunk off the North Carolina coast during World War II. The shipwrecks are located in an area known as the "Graveyard of the Atlantic," which includes U.S. and British naval vessels, merchant ships, and German U-boats sunk during the Battle of the Atlantic.
