Why: Obesity. What causes it? What can policymakers do about it? He spent years investigating the scientific story behind overeating and wrote a recent New York Times best-seller about his findings. At the Pew Health Group's first Perspectives program, Kessler will discuss his policy recommendations for dealing with a problem that is killing Americans and overburdening our healthcare system.

Where: 901 E Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004
