All titles are accepted into the Social Science Citation Index and correspondingly the Journal Citation Reports – Social Science Edition. In addition, Clinical Nursing Research has also been accepted into the Science Citation Index, and JCR – Science Edition.
"In an environment where higher education is under critical scrutiny – particularly in the social sciences – we're delighted that the authors, editors and societies contributing to these journals will now be recognized in the annual JCR process," said Alison Mudditt, SAGE Executive Vice President, Higher Education Group. "The JCR provide a much needed measure of impact for journal quality, something particularly key for librarians making purchasing decisions."
