In awarding him this prize, the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) has recognized Dr. Rosei's outstanding contribution to the development of multiferroic materials for solar energy conversion.
Professor Rosei is one of eight foreign and Iranian researchers residing abroad who will be honored at the KIA awards ceremony. The event will be held in Tehran on March 3, 2015, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Rouhani, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as a number of dignitaries and VIPs.
Dr. Rosei is the fifth Canadian scientist to receive this distinction awarded to foreign researchers since it was created in 1992.
